When nomadic people gather for their occasional festivals it is a time to don their most colorful traditional garments and celebrate with great exuberance. The festivals generally last no more than 2-3 days, so they become a highlight of other activities in the festival area: horse riding, cross country tour or some other custom-made sightseeing trips. For example, when the Kazakh people Eagle Festival is held in October, we usually combine it with horse riding activities after or before the actual festival starts. Naadam and other festivals an easily be incorporated into other standard itineraries.
